Juicy Couture Key Charms on Sale

Okay, I have a love/hate relationship with bag charms. On the love side, they are adorable! They're pocket-sized designer creations that add flair to your already perfect bag. Add 'em on, take 'em off, it's like you're dressing your bag up like a Barbie. On the hate side: simply put, they are accessories for accessories, which is pretty damn ridiculous. No one really needs them. But they call out to you, you feel incomplete without them. What you're buying is just a keychain, that you will hardly ever use for your keys. It's beyond reason, as most designer purchases are. That being said, I still wouldn't mind them because of their frivolity. No, what truly offends me is the pricetags they put on them. I would expect to pay over $100 for a great bag, but for a keychain for a great bag? I don't think so and I stand firm on my personal promise to never pay more than $35 for a keychain, no matter how precious and cute and perfect. So what usually happens is that I wait for them to go on sale - which they always do because there are more people in the world with common sense than there are people with an endless supply of money. They squeak in under my price ceiling - $35 for the flower basket, and $38 for the multiple charms (Technically, that's just $12.66 each). I predict the next handbag fad will be decorative "shoes" for your bag. Most well-designed bags already have "feet" (would you put your bag on the ground without them?). So the next logical step in selling us more crap we don't need is to sell designer shoes for those feet on your bag. The prices might even go into the thousands, but they'll just be so damn cute!
